Visits to Malvern, Gloucester and Hereford are possible just a short drive away, and the area has abundant walking opportunities. The Deer Park is on the lower slopes of the Malvern Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Plentiful other walks are available onsite, with a trek up to the Obelisk rewarding you with views over 5 surrounding counties and a wonderful picnic spot at the top. Well worth the steep-ish trek up the track to get there. You may also catch a glimpse of the magnificent herd of Red Deer which occupy the upper parts of the hill from the campsite.
From Malvern take A449 towards Ledbury, approx. 1 mile before Ledbury turn left onto A438 sp. Eastnor site on left.
Watch for MCCC signs.
£9.50 per night. Optional plaque 50p.
The Deer Park will be open from Monday 12th April – Sunday 6th June, so if you would like to stay longer you can book online using the Eastnor website mentioned earlier. (Note price will be the Eastnor nightly fee, not the rally fee.)
Located overlooking Eastnor Castle at the foot of the Malvern Hills. Pubs, shops and public transport located within 5 miles. The town of Ledbury is just 2 miles away.
